Quiet and reserved, who would have guessed Jinno Rufino, 24. is the athletic type? Then again, with his sporting the requisite shaved head, pierced earlobe and tattoo on one arm, it's a dead giveaway.

         Born and raised in the Philippines, Jinno left for Boston to study college. After graduating, he then worked for some time in California and Hong Kong. Now he's come back, out to explore and acquire a deeper understanding of his mother country, probably because the thought of home just couldn't escape him. "I've called so many different cities and countries home, but every night when slept, I always felt like I was back in my room in my house here."

         True to form, Jinno is a sports buff and an adventure-seeker, a fanatic of the usual ball games as well as the more unnerving tests of endurance. On the other hand, the quiet demeanor does account for something: Jinno also enjoys the fine arts, photography and filmmaking. And then, once the camera starts rolling, another side of the man is revealed: that of Jinno the goofball. He Chesire-grins and chortles, pulling off a few pranks here and there or some nasty impressions, and wrapping it all up with a sly, highly suggestive spiel (wink, wink).
